It’s not often you see an upcoming game make a big deal about its soundtrack, but that’s exactly what the makers of Remember Me are doing in the following video, which provides some insight into the creation of the title’s music. The video also contains a ton of new gameplay footage and concept art, so those of you who don’t really care about video game music have a reason to watch too.
Hit the jump for the video. Warning, contains a somewhat pompous-sounding French guy…
I dunno, for a video supposed to showcase the game’s music, I didn’t hear anything particularly memorable. That said, the game still looks cool.

Im a fan of orchestral soundtracks in games so I’m all for this but I agree it doesn’t sound all that memorable or crazy unique like frenchy mcfrench was trying to say.
We’re hearing the track before he screws with it. If you look up the gameplay demo, he’s actually doing a pretty good job.
I wish that more games would place a bigger emphasize on having a killer soundtrack. One of my favorite things about Bioshock, Fallout 3/New Vegas, and GTA Vice City was the music. Actually all of my favorite games have great soundtracks now that I think about it.
I forgot about Alan Wake. Didnt have that many songs but the ones they picked were perfect for that game.
I think a lot of games do a great job with their music, just maybe that isn’t what people focus on. Like Hotline Miami for instance has a great soundtrack. And the title screen song for ni no kuni is fantastic. Almost makes dying worth it.
That bit of music at the very end was pretty interesting. I guess you can’t really expect them to put on a great action game score while some dude just talks about how interesting future-Paris is.
You throw in some elves, trolls and some evil corporations and baby, you got some Shadowrun goin!
Seriously though, this game looks wicked.
Sometimes I feel like I say this too often, but darker shots of the environment looke like Blade Runner.
