Marvel has been dropping new character posters for Iron Man 3 in the lead up to the movie’s release on May 3rd. The poster above was aptly described by The Mary Sue as “The Most Interesting Mandarin in the World”. Also worth mentioning is that the full-sized version of this photo shows Ben Kingsley chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool with Iron Man’s broken helmet as a footrest.
That’s baller.
Next up, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts cradling that broken helmet. It gets around.
Hmm. Is that more or less boring than this picture of Guy Pearce as Dr. Aldrich Killian?
He seems to be in a factory that only manufactures sparks. (Patton Oswalt warned us about those.)
Finally, here’s Don Cheadle in the Iron Patriot armor as something (an airplane?) explodes behind him. Cool guys don’t look at explosions.

I always assumed that since Dr. Doom belongs to Fox they would have the Mandarin fill in as the evil international monarch bent on world wide rule. But I guess desert dwelling hobo is good too.

Just want to point out, because no one else has yet, that Captain Americas’s WW2 era helmet is being used as an incense holder on the right of the extended Mandarin poster…
It could be a UN peacekeepers helmet, but I think you may be right on the money looking at how inter-connected the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
