So, what’s up with the world of Bioshock Infinite? The game takes place in a 1912 full of floating cities, killer robot George Washingtons and all sorts of other things 1912 didn’t really have. It’s all a little confusing.
Well, thankfully Irrational Games have put together some short, faux-retro documentaries designed to introduce players to the twisted history of Bioshock Infinite. Hit the jump for a Bioshock alternate history lesson…
Who else got a nice nostalgic buzz from those videos? Come on, I’m not the only one around here old enough to have still watched dated “film strips” in school instead of VHS tapes or DVDs, right? Right?

We went from Projector’s to VHS to Laserdisc, baby.
That was living.
I accidentally an apostrophe where I should not have.
I remember thinking my wealthy neighbor’s laser discs made the coolest frisbees ever. No I didn’t get invited over much.
Ha, we had laser discs for a bout two seconds. They even had the interactive ones for our science class. Never saw them again after one year.
Two things leap to mind:
1) I want more of these videos because I didn’t think I could be more hyped about this game than I am.
2) I NEED this game to come out yesterday.
I went to public school in Australia. We still did this in the year 2000.
Same here in ‘Murica.
