In this exclusive preview, Batman fights a dragon. Yes, you read that correctly.
The story comes courtesy of Michael Avon Oeming, who both wrote and drew the issue, and Nick Filardi. If the names sound familiar, that's because they're also the art team on Powers, and Oeming has of course been working steadily in comics for approaching twenty years now.
This particular comic, with the title "Dungeons And Dragons" delivers a lot of both, as you'll see, and caters to Oeming's taste for mythological figures. Also his taste for Batman thumping anything that annoys him. But take a look for yourself...

I’ve always enjoyed the LOTDK series. The stories are a bit fantastical, sure, but some of them are really good, and you often get to see different artistry and styles used to tell the stories.
Yeah, there’s a lot to be said for anthology books, in my opinion. Short stories are not a bad thing.
The first 30 or so issues of LotDK from the late 80s/early 90s were fantastic. Shaman, Gothic, Venom, and a bunch of other standout stories.
