Worried about global warming? Hah! How naive! What you really need to be worried about it global cooling — that’s the message of the upcoming Laurence Fishburne sci-fi thriller The Colony.
In the future we’ll build weather control devices to combat global warming, but we’ll go too far! We’re gonna freeze the planet man! Also, there will, of course, be zombies running around. Why must the future always be so damn zombie filled?

Apparently The Colony was shot in a real decommissioned NORAD nuclear bomb shelter sunk over 65 stories underground. So at the very least the movie’s tunnels should look authentically dank and post-apocalyptic.

I generally like when Lawrence Fishburne does SciFi, so I’ll probably give this a chance. If anything it looks like a good B Movie to waste an afternoon on.
*Bearded* Laurence Fishburne no less.
He was probably the best thing about ‘Predators’. Well him, or the Predators vs Yakuza sword fight.
Bill Paxton in “Aliens mode”? Holy crap I’ll be wearing my beer smuggling pants that night at the theater.
Every one of his lines ends with “man” or GTFO.
The guy working the radio is Michael Mando, known for voicing Vaas on Far Cry 3.
Looks good, but I feel like the zombies weren’t really necessary… I’m more curious in Frozen Water World.
Zombies or cannibals? Or worse, Irish?
Zombies and Laurence Fishburne in one movie? They should have killed two birds with one stone and went with Montana Fishburne instead, she’s already dead inside.
