‘Justice League’ Has Found Its Director, But Only If ‘Man Of Steel’ Is A Hit

We’ve already heard that Warner is only going to make Justice League if Man Of Steel does well. Now we also know who the director will be, and it’s a confirmation of the rumors that have been going around. Empire (via The Playlist) says Warner has picked Zack Snyder to direct Justice League, but only if his Man Of Steel is a hit. If the unmitigated awesomeness of the trailer is any indication, the movie’s going to do just fine.

Empire also spoke to Snyder, who said Man Of Steel wasn’t designed to be “a one-off” (well, obviously). He also said his Superman is in “the DC world. I have been making references to the DC universe, just to let you know that world is out there.” Case in point, the LexCorp building was in the trailer for a split second.

Meanwhile, Justice League is still without a script after the draft by Will Beall was thrown out. Whatever Warner does, please let Zack Snyder just direct it, not write it. We don’t need Justice League getting Suckerpunch‘d.
