For Your Health: John C. Reilly Officially Joins ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ (Plus Raccoon Update)

Last month we rounded up several Guardians Of The Galaxy rumors we hoped were true, including the rumor that John C. Reilly was in negotiations to play Rhomann Dey in a similar role to the Guardians as Agent Coulson is to The Avengers. (Is, not was. COULSON LIVES.)

Now Deadline reports John C. Reilly has indeed signed to play the character.

Reilly joins a cast which includes Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, and Lee Pace as villains; Benicio Del Toro in a lead role; Glenn Close as the head of Nova Corps; Chris Pratt as Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana as Gamora; Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer; and Ophelia Lovibond and Enzo Cilenti in unannounced roles. That’s a lot of semicolons.

P.S. Here is Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn with a raccoon.

GIVE THAT RACCOON A JETPACK.
