UPDATE #3: The final gallery of ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Empire covers is here

Last week Fox and Bryan Singer released a teaser and promised “big surprises” regarding X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Now we know what at least one of the surprises is.

Bryan Singer’s going to be tweeting twenty-five X-Men: Days Of Future Past pictures today (one per hour). Each picture is an Empire Magazine cover, and he seems to be hashtagging each photo #Empire25, a reference to Empire Magazine‘s 25th anniversary.

The first photo is this Sentinel Mark I, circa 1973:

Okay, I lied. That’s actually a vengeful deer who may or may not specifically hunt mutants. Here’s the real Sentinel.

Although this isn’t as clear as the other picture of a Sentinel he tweeted, we’ll take all the pictures of mutant-hunting robots we can get. (Because we’re making a dream board.)

The award for the best Sentinel picture, however, still belongs to commenter LT for this GIF.

Perfection.

UPDATE: Hugh Jackman tweeted this picture of Jennifer Lawrence as “cunning, swift, and unrestrained” Mystique. Unrestrained means naked, we’re assuming.

Evan Peters as random Hot Topic shopper— er, we mean Quicksilver.

Nicholas Hoult returns as Beast.

Here’s a new picture of Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask, creator of the Sentinels.

And here’s one of Lucas Till as Havok.

I believe this is our first look at Evan Jonigkeit as Toad.

Josh Helman is playing Stryker before he started Project X.

For the newest pictures from the set of 25 covers, check out PART TWO and PART THREE and keep an eye on the Twitter feeds of Bryan Singer, Empire, and X-Men Movies. X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens May 23rd, 2014.
