As you may have heard, Donald Trump and Sarah Palin dined out together in New York on Tuesday night, and controversy surrounded both the choice of venue — Famous Famiglia’s pizza in Times Square — and the manner in which Trump and Palin consumed their pizza — with a fork and knife. New Yorkers are downright apoplectic over the whole affair, and last night Jon Stewart hilariously channeled his inner Robert Deniro to add the exclamation point to the local outrage.
In all seriousness, I’ve been watching the Daily Show for, God, over a decade now, and I don’t recall ever laughing as hard as I did for this one. I’m talking doubled over, snorting, tears in my eyes laughing. This one was so in Stewart’s wheelhouse it wasn’t even funny. Enjoy…

Coincidentally, Donald Trump also arranges his hair with a knife and fork.
@Otto…The Trump hair jokes never get old. NEVER!
And for the record, the correct answer for your top three pizza places in NYC is: (1) Lombardi’s, (2) John’s on Bleeker, and (3) Grimaldi’s.
Though I have been known to visit Two Boots.
@Otto…The Trump hair jokes never get old. NEVER!
It may be cheap, but so am I.
That said, after watching the clip, I see Jon Stewart made a hair joke in the stacking slices bit that was even better.
@Otto…Don’t sell yourself short man. Yours was pretty solid! TRUMP HAIR JOKES FOR EVERYBODY!
don’t forget about Marinella’s on 16th and third ave, and Artichoke! @Otto that fork and knife shit is funny
I think Jon has been channeling too much NYC rage the last few weeks- the Bin Laden thing, the pizza rant… I’m sorry but it’s not that funny and it’s a bit off-putting. The Rep. Weiner thing, too. He’s a New Yorker playing to a NY crowd, but a majority of his audience ain’t in NYC. I don’t blame him for his NYC heavy ranting- he lives there- but it just gets tired and played out when you’re the 95% of the country that doesn’t live there and worship it as the “greatest city in the world”
You’re fucking wrong if you think otherwise, RJ. Things happening in New York are national news, always. We matter first.
redRoVER, no you don’t you just think you do. That being said i had no problem with any of John’s NYC-centric stuff that RJ is referring too. The Bin Laden thing is a USA thing.
Scott, I think redRoVER was being sarcastic- at least I took it that way. The Bin Laden killing was a national thing, for sure, but I feel like Jon was too close to it and too emotional to be rational about it. His Bin Laden segments carried more than a hint of sadistic anger (which is understandable), but it didn’t make for funny or even good satire/news.
I don’t have a clip of it, but this is hilariously similar to when Michael Scott visits NYC on The Office and goes to Sbarro’s
“Oh, look! My favorite New York pizza place. I’m going to go get me a New York slice!”
I agree, a true New York slice is not a knife and fork thing. But with a real thin crust pizza, knife and fork can be appropriate; not the way Trump did it, but actually rolling the slice around your fork – it’s the way a lot of Italians (in Italy) do it.
only in america do u eat pizza at restaurant with your hands…
