The first episode of Season Two of Louis C.K.’s show Louie premieres on FX tonight. If you aren’t loving his show, we can’t be friends. To promote the new season Louis C.K. did over thirteen awesome minutes of great material on The Tonight Show last night with minimal interruption from Jay Leno. Say what you will about Leno (often . . . and loudly), but at least he’s getting better at letting the comedians unpack a longer joke without interrupting with as many generic, moment-killing questions as he used to.
As for Louis C.K., he may have topped his fantastic ten-minute interview with Leno from last December. All three videos are below, along with a direct link to each video because NBC’s embedded video codes are persnickety. It’s like they want to offer us something Tonight Show related but then changed their minds and took it away. . . . It’s so unlike NBC to do that to people.
[Hat tip and a tip of Ulysses S. Grant's finger to BestWeekEver.]
