Conan O'Brien Paid A Visit To 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' Last Night

Conan is in New York so he “spontaneously” dropped by his old haunt, Studio 6B, last night. The whole thing felt like a really nice and charming handing of the torch over to Fallon, which I assume is what they were going for. Conan publicly confirming he fully supports what Jimmy is doing despite the network he works for.

Personally, it felt like the final piece of the puzzle to allow me to completely embrace Fallon. It’s taken me a while to get past the sketch-giggler/dude-who-made-a-Red-Sox-romantic-comedy thing, but it’s impossible to deny the job Fallon has done at Late Night since taking over. He just continues to churn out genuinely ambitious and enjoyable — not to mention regularly viral — entertainment.
