Colbert On Black Friday: America Is Back, Baby!

Last night Stephen Colbert rather brilliantly satirized Black Friday, the day he described as the time “when Americans wake from their tryptophan-induced comas to trade gluttony for greed.” Explaining that this years’ record-setting Black Friday sales were proof that America is back, he added, “We are once again spending money we don’t have on things we don’t need to give to people we don’t like,” before leading his audience in a chant of “U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!”
