Kentucky State Police say a blown tire caused a fire a meltdown of at least a ton of butter along Interstate 75 in southeastern Kentucky.
Trooper Steven Douglas says the 2003 Peterbilt blew the tire around 5 a.m. EST Friday, starting a fire that spread to the trailer. Douglas described several thousand pounds of butter as “a total loss.”
