If you’ve been looking forward to last night’s Daily Show eager to see how Jon Stewart and his writers would handle the recent blowup in our long national nightmare with “human cold shower” Rush Limbaugh, because you just knew they would, I doubt you’ll come away disappointed. The show devoted it’s opening nine minutes or so to lampooning the disgusting kerfuffle in a segment titled, “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Gross” — despite the fact, as Stewart noted, that Limbaugh has been saying revolting things for years.
“Personally, I don’t get too worked up about the things Rush Limbugh says,” Stewart said, “because he is — and has been for many years — a terrible person.”
He then donned a yellow haz-mat suit while clips of Limbaugh’s idiotic comments were played. Enjoy.
