Last night on the Daily Show Jon Stewart waded back into the still simmering Rush Limbaugh controversy, specifically how Fox News is working diligently to restore Limbaugh’s, ugh, good name by pointing out how Bill Maher once (Or was it more than once?) called Sarah Palin a “c*nt.” In other words, they’re playing the “well they say mean things too” card.
In essence, Stewart argued, Fox News is pleading for the debate in America to “get back to what really matters in America: whether Obama is a Sunni or a Shi’ite.” After playing a montage of clips in which Fox talking heads criticize Maher and others on the left for cloaking their sexism in comedy, Stewart responded: “Fox: shut the f*ck up…Nobody cares.” I love it when he does that.

I came here to say “Spot on.” But Davenc beat me to it.
specifically, he said that they should shut up about “[FOX News] being victimized.” It wasn’t about the bill maher thing; although he was mentioned, it’s clear that in the clip he did not tell them to shut up about him, or what he said.
I know it’s ignorant to say so… but damn I wish this guy would run for president. :3 Stewart/Colbert 2016!
