You may recall yesterday how CNN — in a rush to be the media equivalent of a “FIRST!” commenter — initially reported the Supreme Court’s decision on the Obama health care plan wrongly. They were joined in wrongness, not surprisingly, by the hyperventilating Obama-haters at Fox News.
“Which news organization would be the first to speak of the great decision?” Jon Stewart said Thursday night. “Who would emerge from the chaos as today’s grand champion of news first-iness?”
Stewart then played a clip of CNN on-air personalities talking about how embarrassing the incorrect ruling must have been to President Obama, who would surely never be able to show his loser face in public ever again.
“Yes, how will the administration recover after this incredibly public blow to their credibility,” Stewart sarcastically cracked. “I mean, the administration staked their entire reputation on this important moment, and now the administration is out there, the face of this giant f*ck up. Sure wouldn’t want to be the administration right now.”

Or with Fast And Furious. Or by not ending medicare and such. Or by being a Kenyan Muslim Reverend Wright Bill Ayers Saul Alinsky Hitler Stalin Mao antichrist harbinger of the apocalypse. Or by being black. You people need to decide exactly where this “edge” is.

It’s a strange world when democrats fight tooth and nail to provide private healthcare corporations with more customers, and republicans vehemently oppose the idea for some reason. I can’t imagine the good folks who run these corporations are too happy with the GOP’s effort to deny them more money.
