Oh man it was good to see Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert back on the air last night. It’d been three weeks — THREE WEEKS — since new episodes of the Daily Show and the Colbert Report had aired. That’s ridiculous. (Note to self: consider trying to get a job working as a writer for Stewart or Colbert!)
With that said, Stewart in particular was fun to watch last night as he was all full of piss and vinegar you could easily see he’d been dying to spew across America’s airwaves, piss and vinegar aimed at Congressional Republicans for playing games with the Hurricane Sandy aid package. What a bunch of staggering dicks! Go get ‘em, Jon…

Over two thirds of the Senate bill was stuffed with unrelated pork.
Which has exactly nothing to do with what John Stewart was talking about if you took the time to watch it.
House Republicans are the worst. I hope all of their houses get fucking swept away and no one will help them rebuild. Assholes.
As someone from Jersey who was forcibly “relocated”… fuck yeah.
Why the quotes around “relocated”? Did they try to relocate you, but you tricked them into relocating a migrant worker named Julio who you paid to take your ID and coat and pose as you? I’m onto you, FalseIdolator.
Ah yes.. Sandy worked into my plan perfectly… the mob will never find me now!!! WAHAHAHAHAH
In other news a media personality took to the air today to launch one sided attacks against a political party he disagrees with…back to you guys in the studio
yeah it’s not like he ever has republicans on the show to give their side of an argument
Seriously? I enjoy the Daily Show for the most point, but to say that he has the other side on to give their argument is laughable (1 in 5 maybe), not to mention that the show isn’t just guest appearances, a majority of his bits obviously favor one side as well…
No one said that. Your Straw Man is on fire.
Why is everything I love flammable?!
and he makes absolutely zero effort to hide the fact that he leans liberal and has even openly admitted that he has ideas that would be considered socialist. they don’t tout their show as “Fair And Balanced” like another particular network. and yet, they still manage to attack both parties more than MSNBC and Fox do.
Congress is the worst.
I’m sure every Republican in Congress is crying under their desks in embarrassment and shame after Jon Stewart made derogatory comments about them on basic cable.
I miss Craig Kilborn. Jon was good for awhile, but while I tend to have a democratic point of view, I resent him bastardizing the show and turning it into his own political platform.
Stewart simply isn’t funny anymore. His delivery stinks and his humor is limited to strange noises and silly faces. Colbert’s humor is far more intellectual and has no childish sounds and looks.
