Chris Brown is a twat. Everyone knows this. With the exception, of course, of Chris Brown and the impossibly delusional death-cult (“Team Breezy”) that hangs on his every word and porn-y gyration. How he can do the things he’s done, continue to act like a petulant child, on and offline, and still be fawned over like some sort of Michael Jackson-esque modern day musical diety is a Bermuda triangle-like mystery to me. He is, indeed, a maddening enigma. But I digress.
So the other night, Chris Brown tweeted something most self-aware people with his background would know not to tweet: “No more planking for me unless it’s on a sexy lady. LOL!” Many people responded to him, mainly derisively, but Andy Levy of Fox’s Red Eye — one of the two shows I actually enjoy on Fox News, Shep Smith’s afternoon news show being the other — retweeted him with a response that caught Brown’s attention.
So last night, Levy “apologized” to Brown and his fans on the air, and it was pretty damn fantastic. It was, in my opinion, precisely the apology Chris Brown deserved.

It’s funny how people want to keep coming at Chris Brown as though he was the first to ever commit DV..a lot of celebrities have either been accused or admitted that they were in abusive relationships/marriages and yet, they haven’t received this much recognition..wonder why..Halle Berry, Kim K, Stacey Dash have all admitted to being victims but none of them have had people in their corner the way Rihanna has had.
Speaking of Rihanna aka the “victim”, I was perplexed and then angry with her statement on 20/20 where she said, “I’M GLAD IT HAPPENED TO ME”..I’m pretty sure she is because, let’s face it, she wouldn’t be relevant right now..oh wait, she’s not doing too much at the present time because people are tired of hearing/reading interviews where she talks about CB and now all of a sudden doesn’t want to..
And yes, before anyone hits me up with, what if it was someone you knew..welp, my mom was abused by my father during their 15 year marriage..should I hate him? My asshole of a brother decides it’s okay to hit women but he also hits men too (guess that goes against the assumption that men that hit women are cowards and won’t hit another men)..most recently..a good friend of mine who is married to an ass who beats on her and she just told me she’s rocking a black eye..oh but wait, no one has heard about these people?! This CB/Goat (yeah, that’s her name..say it with yo chest) situation would NOT have gone anywhere if 1. they weren’t well known and 2. if he was famous and she was just a regular person. The question that needs to be addressed is why is there so much focus on this one particular case? Sure, it’s easier to discuss because you either have heard of the person or find it particularly interesting to discuss but why NOW? It’s not as though people have been reaching out to people in this situation to see what they can do to help them. Do you yourself, as the writer, go to shelters and talk to women and children who are victims? Those that have dealt with this type of abuse all the time? You sounded very bias in this article..still caring around this animosity towards someone you don’t know..you’re very specific about this one young man and I did NOT read anywhere about other men AND women who have committed DV..addressing them as “twats”–J-Z was caught on film hitting a girl (surrounding by other men who did NOT stop him from doing so)..Gucci Mane also, he punched a woman in a club (she fought back of course) and he would’ve continued hitting her if people didn’t get involved..
So, keep checking on this one young man while many others in this same scenario who do it on the daily get unnoticed because honestly, it doesn’t get you views/”likes” to talk about nobodies..I mean, keep it real..of course you like fox news cuz it’s racist (something that has been going on as long as DV) and they keep bringing up this CB/Goat incident as though it just happened and not in early 2009 (when they were broken up) and at the mere age of 19, Chris was a very good driver, able to attack AND still drive that lil car with no accidents..talk about amazing driving..smh

Sean Connery is known for hitting women. Yet women still love him, and he’s still well respected. The fact that he has hit women in his life hardly (if ever) comes up at all. Why is this? Surely he’s hit more women more often than Chris Brown did since he’s much older, and comes from a time when it was normal for men to hit women. Why is it? Oh that’s right. That’s because Sean Connery has something called TALENT. He is known for being a good actor. Maybe if Chris Brown put out music that required hard work and dedication, as well as music everyone can enjoy, maybe people wouldn’t be so quick to point out what he did. Sean Connery will be remembered for being a great actor. Chris Brown will be remembered for hitting Rihanna. No different than the small kid who got beat up in school. Even if the kid got bigger, and learned to defend himself, and grew up to be a big person.
