I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that this is the best thing that’s going to emerge from New York’s 2011 Fall Fashion Week.
Valentino hosted quite the party. A karaoke stand was set up among the racks of elegant gowns, and Tracy Morgan, in a sweaty white T shirt and jeans, took the mike. The crowd went wild over his pretty decent version of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.” A bit earlier, they enjoyed a different style of entertainment: Natalie Cole singing her dad’s “Unforgettable.”
Seriously, Fashion Week is THE WORST. I’m pretty sure it’s part of the reason the terrorists are looking to hit NYC in the coming days. It’s so awful that I’m even thinking of joining my good friends at the Westboro Baptist Church is protesting them. Tracy Morgan sweatily singing karaoke cannot be anything but the best part of Fashion Week.
With that said, video of Morgan singing U2′s “With Or Without You” solo and another of him leading the room in a chorus of “Killing Me Softly” is after the jump.

On behalf of white people – fashion minded and otherwise – everywhere, I would like to offer Tracy Morgan a very heartfelt apology for what he had to endure during ‘Killing Me Softly’. I’m looking at you, “two times” fingers girl.
This would be a lot more awesome IF I COULD ACTUALLY ACCESS THE VID.
