As you may or may not know, Donald Glover/Childish Gambino’s enjoyable new album went on sale yesterday (It’s currently only $5.99 in Amazon’s mp3 store), which sadly coincided with Community essentially being sh*t-canned by NBC. So last night he appeared on Conan to perform “Heartbeat.” As Consequence of Sound notes, “this one tosses and turns like some sort of lost Daft Punk anthem, and on stage, it’s just as affecting.” I agree.
