A Music Video Featuring Clips From Campy Old Horror Flicks? Yes Please!

Written by The Cajun Boy / 03.01.12

I’m a sucker for old horror films, so naturally I’d watch a video that landed in my inbox touted as one that featured clips from “The Brain That Wouldn’t Die.”

Writes Craig Clark: “Here’s a video mashup I’ve edited for “Still Alive” (from “Portal”) by Jonathan Coulton (from his 2011 album, “Artificial Heart”) and sung by Sara Quin (of Tegan and Sara) using clips from “The Brain That Wouldn’t Die” and the original “House on Haunted Hill” (plus a snippet from a Pillsbury cake commercial).”

It’s a bit of an annoyance waiting for the opening credits to end and the video to actually start, but it was a slice of entertaining nostalgia in the end. Enjoy…
