Feist’s ‘Bittersweet Melodies’ Video Features ‘Back To The Future’ Photo Project Loved By The Internet

Remember that Back to the Future photography/art project that featured side-by-side/then-and-now pics that got a lot of love on the internet early last year? It’s the brainchild of Irina Werning, a photographer based in Argentina, and Feist’s new video for “Bittersweet Melodies” is basically a slideshow of Werner’s work set to music.

“I love old photos, but I love even more to recreate them,” Werning told Rolling Stone. “When I fall in love with a picture I don’t stop until I have them in front of me dressed like this doing that thing they were doing. I’m always amazed that they do it.”

Simply put — this pairing of Feist’s song and Werning’s work is beautiful.
