A couple of years ago I was at home on a random weeknight watching Letterman when the Silversun Pickups came out and rocked “Panic Switch” so hard that I literally got up off my couch and started air guitaring all over the place. It remains to this day one of the most electric performances by a band I’ve ever seen on late night TV. Letterman even went over to the band afterwards and praised them endlessly.
So of course I had to set my DVR last night to tape record the band’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live — and they did not disappoint. I had to wait until I ate lunch today to watch them, but I’d been listening to their new album — which you can download on Amazon for $5 right now — on repeat all day, so I was more than primed. Anyway, they performed two songs awesomely on the show, embeds of which are below.
Here’s “Bloody Mary”…
And here’s “The Pit”…

“I’d been listening to their album on repeat all day.”
You and me both. Thanks for posting these.
Nice.
It’s a pretty good album…though it’s not the “horror” show I was promised.
Terrible crowd though
