Beirut’s Video For ‘The Rip Tide’ Will Make All Your Troubles Go Away

As you may have noticed, we made a few changes around here over the weekend. Did some redecorating, if you will. Naturally, with that sort of thing comes a little bit of stress for your humble UPROXX servants — in addition to the normal injection of stress any typical Monday brings.

But then I watched the video embedded below and all my worries seemed to evaporate like a morning dew. It’s a beautiful video for a beautiful song — possibly my favorite all-time song by Beirut. It’s the music video equivalent of a tab Valium and a mediation session. At least it worked wonders for me — hopefully it will for you as well. Enjoy…
