All Hell Breaks ‘Luce’ In Tom Waits’s New Apocalyptic Music Video. Also, Shark Submarines.

In the past week, Tom Waits released three teasers for a mysterious announcement that he was going to reveal on August 7th. The first was of him dressed as a pirate, saying we have “permission to come aboard.” The second read “I breathe better underwater.” And the third warned “never bring a gun to a spoonfight.” Not only is that good advice, but today we have our answer to what the hell he was talking about: it was an intricate buildup to his new music video, “Hell Broke Luce,” a particularly stomping, darkly comic track from last year’s Bad As Me.

Most had assumed the announcement was going to be for a concert tour, but according to Waits, “As most of you guessed, it’s a tour…a tour de force!” He’s as brilliantly diabolical as the Joker.
