If you had any doubt in your mind whether or not Bob Mould — most famous for his stints with Hüsker Dü in the 80s and Sugar in the 90s — still had “it,” just watch the video of his performance on Letterman last night embedded above and put all your doubts to rest.
A side note: I saw Foo Fighters play a show last year at Madison Square Garden that featured cameos by Mould and Joan Jett. The floor of the arena was actually shaking from the place rocking so hard. I will never forget it.
Anyway, DESTROY THAT FREAKIN’ GUITAR, OLD MAN!




Bob Mould should be treated like Rock Royalty. I don’t think he gets enough acclaim. Maybe when he gets inducted to the Hall of Fame people will realize how much of an impact he had on music. I wish he would settle all of his legal beef with his former band and label and put out some proper Husker Du remastered albums.
