Any amount of time without a new Arcade Fire song is too long, let alone the two years it’s been since the last new Arcade Fire album, The Suburbs, made sweet love to our ears. A few days ago, according to Consequence of Sound, the band performed an unreleased song, “Crucified Again,” at a charity event in New York City, and luckily someone was recording. It’s got everything you’d expect from an Arcade Fire song — lingering organ, sincerity, strings, religious imagery, etc. — yet something sounds different. As one atypically apt YouTube commenter wrote, “This is a pretty good cover of a Galaxie 500 song.” YES PLEASE.
As for the next album, their fourth: “Arcade Fire are currently working on their fourth studio album. While at the Polaris Prize Gala last month, drummer Jeremy Gara hinted that the album is almost complete and could see release soon. Based on a series of non-committal answers in recent interviews, former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy is rumored to be album’s producer.” YES PLEASE TIMES A MILLION.

Sorry, they’re awful. Really awful. Like listening to someone explain Battlefield Earth. Like a guy slapping his dick on a out of tune guitar.
Don’t be sorry. It’s ok. Your opinion is completely worthless.
Arcade Fire are terrible
I’ve been a fan of them since Funeral, and have enjoyed their albums since, but this song just seems lazy compared to what they’re capable of..
I say this as a huge fan of Funeral, possibly the best album of the Aughts, and a longtime defender of the band in public forums wherein people say they’ve somehow dropped off which is absolute nonsense: This is the most uninteresting song I’ve ever heard The Arcade Fire perform.
