Okay, seriously, when will touring musicians carrying illegal drugs on their buses learn to either avoid the border-patrol checkpoint in the town of Sierra Blanca, Texas or exhaust all of their drugs before they get there? Nelly — who apparently has a thing for heroin — now joins Willie Nelson, Fiona Apple, and Snoop Dogg, among others, to recently be busted there.
According to a press release from local police sent to MTV News, the “Hot in Herre” rapper was detained Wednesday night during a routine search at a border-patrol checkpoint in the town of Sierra Blanca, Texas. The bus search was conducted after a police dog detected the presence of drugs.
The officers at the scene found 0.64 ounces of heroin distributed among 36 small plastic bags, more than 10 pounds of marijuana and a loaded .45-caliber pistol. A man named Brian Keith Jones reportedly admitted that the illegal items were his and was subsequently arrested. Nelly was eventually let go, along with the five other individuals who were on the bus at the time.

Why is everyone assuming he’s doing heroin? LOL. I could’ve gotten pulled over tons of times with friends that had weed on them. Doesn’t mean I smoke.
Googled the name Brian Keith Jones out of curiosity. The dude who took the hit for Nelly shares his name with an Australian pedophile from the 70′s who was nicknamed by the press as ‘Mr. Baldy’ for shaving his victims. Just had to throw that out there.

To be fair, if I woke every day and realized I was Nelly, I’d probably need a lot of heroin too.
I’m more amazed that Nelly still exists.
