Insert my boilerplate “I don’t usually write about politics but this time’s different thanks to irony” times a thousand because Creed frontman Scott Stapp appeared on Fox News to talk election this morning.
Above you’ll find Mr. Stapp explaining to the objective personalities on Fox & Friends why he no longer believes President Obama can take him higher, and how another four years without transcendent leadership could leave us living in our own prison (I owned a Creed album once so I’m allowed, you see).
I’m no political pundit, but my gut tells me this is will make for an incredible momentum shift in the presidential election. I really should leave that sort of conjecture up to the professionals though, so instead I’d just like to add that it’s remarkable how Scott Stapp seemingly morphed into Parks and Rec’s Ken Hotate over night.

He looks like a fat Judd Nelson. So, I guess, Judd Nelson.
I’m going to wait until I hear who Fred Durst endorses before I decide who I’m voting for.
Well, I just heard…this news today…
I’m sure Obama’s reaction was just a quiet “yeah, thanks for the words.”
Great vid, man.
He must have cried out to God, seeking only His decision.
He looks like Alfred Molina in “Maverick”.
I never realized “Arms Wide Open” was about how he approaches a buffet.
Does anyone think Fox News knows how irrelevant he is?
I wonder if Faux News knows about his groupie blowjob home video with Kid Rawk.
Obama got the Hugo Chavez endorsement not too long ago, so I guess these things tend to even out.
Holy crap. Did something happen to his original face so that he’s using his spare now?
