As far as Christmas songs go, “Last Christmas” by Wham! is one of the least awful (it’s certainly better than “Wonderful Christmas Time”). Fun fact: Barry Manilow filed a lawsuit against Wham! in 1985 because he felt there were striking similarities between their song and his “Can’t Smile Without You.” The matter was settled out-of-court, and all first-year proceeds were donated to charity. HAPPY HANUKKAH.
Anyway, the xx performed a minimal cover of the track on BBC Radio One Live Lounge this morning, which you can hear below. It does not sound like “Copacabana.”

Wow totally thought you meant the album cover. I was kinda hoping to see them dressed like the banner pic. Songs good though.

Great! Now if I could only find somewhere to download this (legally.) Or not legally. Whatever. I’ve purchased both xx albums legitly and wouldn’t feel too bad abut finding this one track for free.
