Destiny's Child Is ALSO Releasing A New Album, Sort Of

The firmly toned dream of the late 1990s, early 2000s is clearly still alive. Hours after Justin Timberlake’s cryptic tweet, which led to a teaser trailer, Destiny’s Child, or more accurately Beyoncé & Co., ALSO had something to say: their names. Haha, remember that reference? But seriously, they’re also coming out with a album, although with only one new song. Says Consequence of Sound:

Destiny’s Child, the trio launched the career of Beyoncé, will release their first newly-recorded material since 2004. Love Songs, which compiles a career of hits from all four of the group’s studio albums, includes the new song “Nuclear”, which features production by both Pharrell and Beyoncé.

Love Songs will be released January 29th via Leagacy/Columbia records. (Via)

What do the other members have on Beyoncé that she agreed to this? She’s the Super Bowl halftime performer, will sing at Obama’s inauguration, and was voted the sexiest woman of the century — Michelle Williams was in RuPaul’s Drag Race four years ago. Not that we’re complaining; much like Walter White…

…we’re big fans.
