Because Josh Homme was apparently unavailable, Dave Grohl is filling in for Chelsea Handler on E!’s Chelsea Lately all week, and last night, he interviewed Nas in a Grammy-themed episode. The Foo Fighters frontman asked the Brooklyn-born rapper about how he feels the Grammys treat hip-hop (not well) and what it’s like when two “beefing” artists meet at an awards ceremony. Grohl, obviously, wouldn’t know what that’s like, because although he hates Coldplay, he would never say that out loud. Nope, Dave Grohl, definitely doesn’t hate Coldplay.
And then he performed “She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain” with Rick Springfield.

Nas DID NOT like Billy Eichner’s comments, questions or prizes on “Billy on the Street”. Shame.
Those two don’t seem like they would have compatible personalities, but you’re right, it’s a shame nonetheless.
If Dave Grohl was given his own talk show, I would watch the shit out of said talk show.
Who would be the band leader?
Good question. Maybe the aforementioned Homme would be a nice pairing? Who would you pick?
LEMMY!
They could do a version of SNL’s digital shorts with the Eagles of Death Metal.
I’m liking where this is headed. Would he need an Andy Richter-type sidekick/announcer?
Speaking of Dave Grohl TV shows, has anyone heard anything more about the Dana Gould and Dave Grohl comedy they are developing for FX?
Everything I’m finding is over a year old. Seriously, how long does it take to develop a comedy show while making documentaries and being in rock bands?
jesus, Dave Grohl even turns guest hosting Chelsea Lately into a cool thing
