Want to hate life for a little bit? Check out these photos of what would-be 46-year-old birthday boy Kurt Cobain would have looked like if he hadn't, y'know. All apologies for life for that. He looks like the singer for The National in two of those “if-he-hadn’t-hated-his-face-so-much” pictures.
I can’t get over how young Dave Grohl looks, it’s almost like he’s a fetus. I much prefer the current Grohl with the facial hair. Some men just look better as they age.
Saw Nirvana once, November of 1993, and went in with relatively low expectations (having heard numerous times about the uneven performances from Kurt in the past.) They were tremendous, Kurt was on point, and just an outstanding show. It has been said by many before and much better, but what a tragic loss.
