As you may have heard, the Postal Service is back together and is already putting out new music. But did you know that before Ben Gibbard got the gig as the band’s frontman that Sub Pop brought in a host of other “talent” to try out for the role? Betcha didn’t! Anyway, Funny or Die has released the never-before-seen footage from the audition room. And you’ll never look at Moby the same way ever again.
Enjoy!

More people should know Jonathan Daly.
Exactly.
SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE!
this was great. marc maron was the best one but i thought tom delonge was also surprisingly funny.
Tom Scharpling is the greatest.
I verbally lost my shit at Weird Al. I hate myself for ever thinking Weird Al was not funny. There was when I was a kid and thought his music was great, but then there was that period where I was “too cool” and called it all stupid. I don’t really like his music now, but he definitely has a great sense of humor, and plays the accordion.
Pretty much every account of anybody famous who meets Weird Al is that he’s a straight-up nice guy – willing to give you his wallet at gunpoint kind of nice.
