In late February, Kanye West went on a Kanye West-esque rant in London about life, the Grammys, the 2006 Franco–Italian–Spanish Middle East Peace Plan, everything really. He also went after Justin Timberlake because, although he has “love for Hov,” Kanye “ain’t f*cking with that “Suit & Tie.” Remind me again why we in this sh*t?”
For the Tumblr mashups, obviously. Anyway, on last night’s SNL, Timberlake responded to Ye’s remarks, by subtly changing a line in the unf*ckable “Suit & Tie.” The original goes, “Sh*t so sick/Got a hit and picked up a habit,” but with the Three Amigos looking on, JT instead sang, “My hits so sick/Got rappers acting dramatic.” It’s a small tweak, but that’s all the attention Timberlake should have given West’s comments. In more important news, model Misa Campo released her take on the “Suit & Tie” video, which is instantly 7x better than the original.
And the original’s pretty great.

these 2 had beef for a long time now…I remember JT asking if Kanye could make an original beat without sampling in an MTV interview years ago…
I wonder what Jay Z has to say about all this. Probably just *Jay Z laugh*
“Itcha boy!”
Didn’t know that was a big song, I’ve only heard that little snippet of it that’s been in some commercial all the goddamn time lately, and I deeeeespise it.
I mean…that chick is fine for days, but she is a horrible dancer
You guys know that Kanye wasn’t dissing JT or the song right? He was using the title to continue his rant about how business and corporations are ruining art. Suit and Tie symbol of business. Why does this need explaining?
Ughhh.

Oh okay.
People who don’t like “Suit & Tie” are like people who enjoy Lars Von Trier films. I don’t get it, and it kinda makes me think less of them.
