The rumor swirling around Coachella yesterday was that Daft Punk would join their French brothers in arms, Phoenix, during their headlining set. It remained just that, a hopeful rumor, but the alt-rock band was accompanied by an unexpected, equally awesome guest: R. Kelly, who helped mash up “Ignition (Remix)” with “1901.”
