Westboro Baptist Church To Picket Jeff Hanneman’s Funeral By Singing Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘Crazy Train’

I love everything about this story, except for the part where Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman is dead while everyone involved with the Westboro Baptist Church remains alive.

The Westboro Parish Church has announced that they plan to protest the funeral of Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman.

The fundamentalist Christian group has a history of picketing outside funerals of dead US soldiers and concerts of artists, with Radiohead and Foo Fighters being past victims of their attention-seeking hatred. The group plan to perform their cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘Crazy Train’ at the funeral. (Via)

They even sent out a tweet, so you know they mean business.

But why “Crazy Train”? Actually, I can answer that: “Amazing, that’s how God rolls/Millions of people, drowning in woes.” That’s why. LOOK OUT, WEIRD AL. No, seriously, Mr. Al, watch yourself — you never know when someone from the WBC will come up from behind, cut off a large chunk of your magnificent hair, and run away yelling, “MORE LIKE WEIRD F*G…yeah, we’re still working on that one.”

This is gonna get ugly.
