I know this is probably unlikely, but I like/want/have convinced myself to imagine that Pearl Jam, who’ve remained quiet for nearly four years now, were inspired to go on tour and release a new album, Lightning Bolt (due out October 15th), by Councilman Jamm from Parks and Recreation. Hey, Pawnee residents love their mid-1990s Seattle celebrities — Pearl You Just Got Jammed could be returning the favor? Or maybe they just needed to recharge for their energetic, kick-to-the-groin single “Mind Your Manners,” which you can hear below.
Either way’s good.
