The Summer Of Miley Cyrus’s Awkward Sexuality Continues With Big Sean’s ‘Fire’ Music Video

Last night, I finally saw This Is the End in a theater that was surprisingly crowded for a movie that’s been out for nearly two months. It was great and incredibly well received by the audience, but one of the biggest laughs came before the film even started, when the trailer for Getaway began playing. The plot of the vroom vroom car chase life distraction starring Ethan Hawke doesn’t matter, but what does is that Selena Gomez plays a hoodie-cloaked thug who tries to rob Hawke with a gun that looks like a twisted spatula. No one in the crowd took this seriously for a second — I believe one person even said, “She looks like she’s 12,” which I hope was a bad thing.

Anyway, I bring this up because no matter how hard Gomez may try, she’s not a badass. The same goes with Miley Cyrus and her sexuality — she can awkwardly twerk all she wants, but to most, she’ll forever be the little chipmunk from Hannah Montana. She’s still trying, though, most recently in Big Sean’s “Fire” music video.

Every shirt Miley buys is buy one, get one when she rips the lower half off.
