To celebrate the release of their collaborative album Wise Up Ghost, Elvis Costello and the Roots played a for-now one-off show at Brooklyn Bowl, deep in the flannel heart of Williamsburg. According to Stereogum, the well-dressed supergroup played “funky cuts from the new album and slightly revamped takes on classic Costello,” as well as covers of the Specials’ “Ghost Town” and John Lennon’s f*ck off to religion, “I Found Out.”
