Jimmy Fallon: probably the least metal person on the planet. Heck, even Conan has flamin’ red hair (like the devil!) – but on Monday night’s show he had The Avett Brothers on, and they performed a medley of metal covers. And they’re a bluegrass/folk band! Who’d have thunk it, eh?
I’d actually buy this album. Who wouldn’t want a folk/bluegrass album of metal covers. Oh, wait. Well who wouldn’t want that same album but sung by a bunch of dudes who look like every bartender ever in Brooklyn? Exactly. Jimmy Fallon has you covered.
