Final Track: 7 Must-Hear Songs Of The Week

It’s impossible to cover each bit of new music that comes out during the week, so every Friday, we’ll be doing an end of the week music roundup. It’s called Final Track, and we’ll count off a few songs released during the week that are worth giving a listen to. (via Getty Image)

Today, we’ve got releases from Childish Gambino, Russian Circles, Fall Out Boy with Ryan Adams, and more.

Untitled by Childish Gambino

After leaving the ever rocky with offscreen drama Community, Donald Glover has smoothed down his musical alter-ego, Childish Gambino, with this as-yet-untitled track. Maybe he’s waiting until October 19th?

“1777” by Russian Circles

Chicago-based industrial-metal-post-rock-whatever-you-want-to-call-them band Russian Circles are about to release a new album, Memorial, which includes “1777,” the heaviest instrumental you’ll hear all day.

“End of the World” by Blu and Nottz ft. Rashad

Pax Am Days by Fall Out Boy and Ryan Adams

We told you about Fall Out Boy and Ryan Adams’s punk EP, which is still a weird thing to type. Here it is.

“Tipple” by Fiona Apple and Blake Mills

Another lovely new song from Fiona’s now-infamous “GET HEALTHY” set.

“Meant to Be” by TLC

TLC has been (mostly) together-ish (kind of) for 20 years, and next week, they’ll release a greatest hits collection, the aptly-titled 20, to honor the occasion. I can’t imagine why anyone would buy it other than to listen to “No Scrubs” or “Unpretty,” but if you’re a weirdo, please enjoy their new song, “Meant to Be.”

This isn’t so much a song as it is Danzig telling a crowd to “punch this f*cking asshole” who’s filming the concert. CLASSIC DANZIG.
