Let’s Take A Minute To Appreciate 2013’s ACTUAL Best Song From A Movie

You’ve read all about the Oscar snubs, but what about the snub that’s also a…FLUB?!? The Academy Award for Best Original Song doesn’t get the same recognition as whichever categories Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams are in, nor should it, not after this year’s nominees. “Let It Go” from Frozen is great, one of Disney’s best ballads in a decade, but the best song from the best movie of 2013 (100% agree) was completely ignored. UH OH.

I mean, sure, it wasn’t eligible…but dear god, Bono’s going to win, isn’t he?

“Alone, Not Yet Alone” – Alone, Not Yet Alone • Music by Bruce Broughton • Lyrics by Dennis Spiegel
“Happy” – Despicable Me 2 • Music and Lyrics by Pharrell Williams
“Let It Go” – Frozen • Music and Lyrics by Kirsten Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez
“The Moon Song” – Her • Music by Karen O • Lyrics by Karen O and Spike Jonze
“Ordinary Love” – Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom • Music by U2 • Lyrics by Paul Hewson (Bono)

Bono’s so going to win.
