A Radio Station Has Been Playing Nelly’s ‘Hot In Herre’ Non-Stop For Over 14 Hours

We’ll be telling our grandchildren about where we were when Latino Mix 105.7 stopped spinning Nelly’s “Hot In Herre.” Since yesterday afternoon, the Los Angeles-based radio station has been playing Nelly’s 2002 hit single about sunstroke on repeat. Every time you think Nelly has taken his clothes off for the final time, the song starts again. Apparently this is fairly common procedure for radio stations that are about to undergo a massive format change — consider it a weird publicity stunt — but I choose to believe some crazed Nelly is holding the DJ hostages until someone brings him the most bodacious ass in all the land.

That seems the more likely scenario.
