‘Hong Kong Phooey’ Lands A Number One Super Writer

via mtv.com ( 211 Days ago )
I didn’t even know that a live-action/CG hybrid adaptation of “Hong Kong Phooey” was in production! Now The Hollywood Reporter brings word that a writer has been secured for the project. Not just any writer either; this dude strings together words for Seth McFarlane’s hit TV series “Family Guy.” David Goodman has been hired to put together a script [...]

Stewie Griffin for an Emmy?

via tvsquad.com ( 256 Days ago )
Filed under: Awards, Emmys, Reality-FreeSeth McFarlane is trying to break the Emmy barrier by having Family Guy compete with such shows as 30 Rock and The Office. For the second year in a row, Family Guy is being submitted as a nominee for the general comedy series category (as opposed to the animated 'toon category).I'm ambivalent about this choice. On one hand, a lot of great comedy [...]

Eminem On Family Guy

via mixselect.com ( 267 Days ago )
To help hype his new album Eminem made an appearance on my favorite TV show Family Guy. I mean my favorite show I watch on Hulu by Seth McFarlane. To be honest after Battlestar Galactica ended I unplugged my TV and buried it in the back of my closet.

FAMILY GUY MOVIE TO INCLUDE LIVE ACTION?

via uproxx.com ( 300 Days ago )
Seth McFarlane was on The Adam Carolla Podcast (which I highly, highly recommend) the other day, and the discussion eventually turned to The Family Guy movie, which is apparently in the works, and… may included live action?  Here’s the exchange: MCFARLANE: I can say with definitive assuredness that it will be out.  Within [...]

FIRST LOOK AT ‘FAMILY GUY’/'STAR TREK’ THING

via uproxx.com ( 319 Days ago )
For some mysterious reason, Seth McFarlane and the “Family Guy” brain trust reunited the cast of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” for an upcoming episode. Not exactly timely, but that’s never really stopped “Family Guy” from going ahead with a gag. Anyway, it’s about what you might expect: there are some genuinely funny bits, and [...]

THE ‘FAMILY GUY’ CLIP TOO ILLICIT FOR TV!!!

via uproxx.com ( 323 Days ago )
I’m entering Year Five of indecision about whether I genuinely enjoy “Family Guy” or just turn to it for random gags when nothing else is on, but one thing is certain: Seth McFarlane hates a lot of the same things that I do, and that makes him okay in my book. The below clip is a musical number (of course) supposedly from the “Lois Kills Stewie” episode [...]

YOU GOT FAMILY GUY IN MY HELLBOY

via uproxx.com ( 580 Days ago )
Fox's $100 million man Seth McFarlane, when he's not voicing lisping effete babies and churning out once-funny primetime cartoons, lends his vocal talents to big screen comic book adaptations, as he did for Hellboy II: The Golden Shower on Your Moms as some uptight German-sounding thing in a mechanized suit. As with the movie, Stewie's performance is getting high grades. That reminds [...]
