Stephen Colbert Shaves Woody Harrelson's Head Because America Demanded It

via mtv.com ( 88 Days ago )
Stephen Colbert is an artful comedian and satirist, but his skills as a barber and his taste in hairstyles are questionable at best, recently evidenced in his decision to shave himself entirely bald. Of course, one of "The Colbert Report" host's many fine qualities is his unparalleled sense of patriotism, which was at the root of his radical haircut in a decision made to support [...]

Stephen Colbert shaves Woody Harrelson’s head for the troops

via celebitchy.com ( 88 Days ago )
Patriotism is shown in all sorts of ways. Flying the flag, donating your time to a charity, or in Woody Harrelson’s case, shaving his head, with the help of Stephen Colbert. Watching this clip was the highlight of my month so far. Not that my month has been pathetic (okay it has, but irrelevant), but that this was so hysterically funny I actually thought I was going to choke. [...]

Starring: Woody Harrelson, Ben Foster, Samantha Morton Review: If anyone asks you where the best and brightest new directors are coming from, point to Oren Moverman, whose vividly touching and vital debut feature signals the arrival of a filmmaker — he wrote the script with Alessandro Camon — who can bare the soul of a character with precision and healing compassion. [...]

Last week, the zombies were out in full force for the opening of the Woody Harrelson zombie movie Zombieland. 'Zombieland' Writers Discuss Sequel Possibilities

via mtv.com ( 127 Days ago )
FROM MTV.COM: Without giving away too much about "Zombieland," the comedy about how America goes from land of the free to home of the flesh-eating ghoulie, let's just say the ending of the Woody Harrelson-led popcorn flick sets things up perfectly for a sequel. Given that the movie nabbed the top box-office spot over the weekend with $25 million in ticket sales, another "Zombieland" [...]

Kat Dennings Wants 'Hack/Slash' Movie, Makes Pitch For Comic Book Movie Role

via mtv.com ( 127 Days ago )
"Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" actress Kat Dennings isn't the first name you'd associate with comic book movies, but when we had the chance to sit down with her during the Toronto International Film Festival, she was quick to name-drop an adaptation she'd like to bring to the big screen. In town to discuss her upcoming, pseudo-superhero movie "Defendor" with Woody Harrelson, [...]

Since Zombieland was number one at the box office this weekend, I'm going to assume a lot of Cinematical readers were sitting and soaking up its hilarious brand of gore. So, I thought I might take advantage of your enthusiasm and the month of October, and suggest that Tallahassee would make an awesome Halloween costume that no one else at your party is going to think of. Perhaps [...]
