PACMAN JONES

Adam Bernard "Pacman" Jones (born September 30, 1983), is an American football cornerback and return specialist who is currently a free agent in the National Football League who started his career with the Tennessee Titans before being traded because of off-field problems to the Dallas Cowboys in 2008 before they announced to release him due to off-the-field conduct again on January 7, 2009. He was a professional wrestler with the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion. He was drafted by the Tennessee Titans sixth overall in the 2005 NFL Draft after playing college football at West Virginia, and was most recently a member of the Dallas Cowboys .

Jones was suspended from the NFL for the entire 2007 season for off-the-field conduct. During his suspension Jones signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, despite an agreement between TNA and the Titans organization that he would only have a "non-physical" role in the company, and went on to the TNA World Tag Team Championship with Ron Killings. He also established a record label, "National Street League Records", and performed as one half of the rap duo Posterboyz. (via Wikipedia)

Ice-Wielding Pro Surfer Allegedly KOs 3 Women

via sportsbybrooks.com ( 307 Days ago )
I thought surfers were supposed to be mellow and laid-back almost to the point of unconsciousness - like Matthew McConaughey, but more stoned. Well, pro surfer Chris Ward seems to break the mold; he’s allegedly more like the pro surfing version of Pacman Jones. Actually, scratch that: even Jones hasn’t been accused of what the LOS ANGELES TIMES reports about today. Ward [...]

Marcus Spears Imitated Pacman At B-Day Party?

via sportsbybrooks.com ( 332 Days ago )
It sounds a little crazy, but it’s true. Just after news broke that Pacman Jones made an unannounced — and uninvited — appearance to make it rain at Dallas defensive end Marcus Spears’s birthday party, new photos dug up by TOTAL PRO SPORTS make it pretty clear that Spears was making it rain himself. (Meet the new Rain Man.) Evidently a fellow attendee of [...]

Jay Glazer Spends Time with the Delinquent Pacman Jones, Comes Away Impressed

via thebiglead.com ( 334 Days ago )
Pacman: It’s safe to assume his career is over, so we don’t care about the guy, but Pacman Jones apparently knows how to make an impression. He won over FOX’s Jay Glazer on the set of Pros vs. Joes. “Hey, I used to love the strip clubs. I was 21, 22, 23 years old. Every gentleman, if you’re normal, you love the strip clubs, too. Nice girls, young, nude [...]

Jay Glazer thought he knew all he needed to know about Pacman Jones. Then he met the controversial star. Now he's not so sure.

Matt Jones Continues to Impress

via larrybrownsports.com ( 336 Days ago )
Matt Jones is working his way up to Pacman Jones status here at LBS. Hopefully he’s got enough in him to keep this fire fueled for a few more years. First the Jags bust of a wide receiver got caught chopping lines of cocaine in his car along with some friends in Fayetteville last year. It bothered me that he was able to escape penalty under the league’s personal conduct [...]

Pacman Jones Gets Into Fight During Pros vs. Joes TV Show Taping

via larrybrownsports.com ( 338 Days ago )
Considering no NFL teams have shown interest in him, I’m surprised Pacman Jones hasn’t gone back to TNA wrestling for a second spin as “The Lap Dance Man.” Maybe the paychecks doing the turnbuckle thing weren’t quite cutting it for Pac. Anyway, I guess he’s still trying to stay in football shape, and he’s been doing it by participating [...]

This was entertaining. I stopped by L.A. Southwest College this week to spend some time on the set of "Pros vs. Joes," the Spike TV show airing in April that pits retired NFL and NBA players against so-called everyday Joes in various football and basketball skills challenges. Actually, the Joes ...Shutdown Corner found this 34 hours ago on latimesblogs.latimes.com Find more [...]

PACMAN GETS A JOB, BUT NOT THE KIND WE WANTED

via profootballtalk.com ( 347 Days ago )
Free-agent cornerback Pacman Jones has been available to be signed by any team for nearly a month.  Not surprisingly, he has found no takers. But Jones has found a job.  A part-time gig.  It might represent an implicit concession that his NFL playing days are over. Jones will be a participant in Spike TV’s Pros Vs. Joes,
