Get the door, it’s crippling stomach problems.
Takeru Kobayashi, the world famous competitive eater and six-time champion of Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, guzzled down a whole 12-inch pizza pie in exactly one minute while hanging out at a Super Bowl Party on Sunday. (via The Daily What)
Kobayashi’s effort, which is more or less the exact opposite of Avoiding The Noid, is after the jump. Viewer warning: it contains the grosses thing a person can do*.
*eat Domino’s pizza
THAT PIZZA’S WORTH AT LEAST TWICE WHAT THEY PAID KOBAYASHI TO EAT IT.
The best part of the video isn’t the competitive eating feat, I think, it’s the weird dogfight atmosphere of the attempt. Remember that ‘King Of The Hill’ episode where Bill becomes a competitive eater and does really well, so he thinks people are starting to respect him, but it turns out they’re just laughing at him because he’s a sideshow freak? Yeah, compare and contrast that to the reality of Kobayashi having won competitive eating championship belts and broken world records only to end up at a Super Bowl party eating a garbage pizza while everybody squats around a beer pong table with their smart phones and yells GO FASTER and YEAH EAT IT.
One more competitive eater and a length of sausage and we’re set for Kobayashi’s Requiem For A Dream.
