WWE Raw results:
1. World Heavyweight Championship Match: John Cena (c) defeated Damien Sandow. Damien Sandow teased cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, then brutally assaulted John Cena’s injured arm and cashed in proper. After a long match (and two commercial breaks) John Cena won clean with an Attitude Adjustment.
2. United States Championship Match: Big E Langston defeated Dean Ambrose (c). Langston won by disqualification when the other members of The Shield attacked. The Usos made the save, and Brad Maddox turned the one-on-one contest into a six-man tag.
3. The Shield defeated Big E Langston and The Usos. Roman Reigns won the match for his team after a double spear on the Usos.
– Shawn Michaels explained his motivations for turning on Daniel Bryan, saying that his friendship with Triple H was more important than anything that happens in a wrestling ring. He brought Daniel Bryan down to the ring and apologized, offering Bryan his hand, but got angrier when Bryan refused. Ultimately Bryan shook Shawn’s hand, then dragged him to the ground and locked on the Yes Lock. Michaels tapped out until referees broke it up.
– After a commercial break, the Wyatt Family interrupted an interview with Daniel Bryan with a sneak attack. Bryan was sent to a “local medical facility.”
4. Los Matadores defeated 3MB. Los Matadores won with their double-team Samoan drop on Drew McIntyre. 3MB brought a butterfly net to the ring in an attempt to capture El Torito. After the match, Los Matadores trapped Slater in the net and El Torito hit him with a flying headbutt off the ropes.
5. AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka defeated The Bella Twins. AJ won the match via submission with a Black Widow on Nikki.
6. Kane defeated The Miz. Kane won in about a minute with a chokeslam. After the match, Kane brought Stephanie McMahon to the ring and announced that he liked her style and was offering her his services. Kane then unmasked (and un-wigged).
7. CM Punk defeated Ryback. This was a street fight per a WWE app vote. Punk won after he put Ryback through a table with a flying elbow and locked in the Anaconda Vice for the submission. After the match, the Wyatt Family appeared and attacked Punk just like they attacked Bryan. Wyatt’s reasoning: “The devil made me do it.”
8. The Real Americans defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust. This was a non-title match. Swagger chop blocked Goldust and made him tap out to the Patriot Lock.
9. Natalya defeated Summer Rae. Summer controlled most of the match until Hornswoggle put his hands on Fandango and Fandango tossed him away, which caused The Great Khali to put HIS hands on Fandango. That distracted Summer, and Natalya was able to lock her in the Sharpshooter for a submission win.
– The Big Show interrupted Randy Orton’s championship celebration, running Triple H and Stephanie off and knocking out Orton. Triple H teased getting into the ring to fight Show, but never did.
