SNL alum and current Suburgatory star Ana Gasteyer has been on Twitter for a while and for some reason decided yesterday was the day to begin a crusade for Twitter verification.

Back in June, former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Ana Gasteyer let it slip that Ben & Jerry's was making a Schweddy Balls ice cream flavor based on the well-known "SNL" sketch she starred in with Molly Shannon and Alec Baldwin.

All the way back in 1998 Ana Gasteyer, Molly Shannon, and Alec Baldwin (as Pete Schweddy) starred in an SNL skit called The Delicious Dish, in which they poked fun at NPR and introduced us all to Alec Baldwin's Schweddy Balls.

Hold on to your hats, folks, because this is the most worthwhile story I'll write about all day: an ice cream company in Vermont is or is not making a flavor based on a "Saturday Night Live" skit from 13 years ago.
